It gained digital immortality as one of the first games ever programmed on a computer — OXO, created in 1952 by Cambridge student Alexander Douglas, was a Tic-Tac-Toe simulation used as a computer science thesis. Tips & Tricks

• 1.Always take the center square if it is available — it participates in the most possible winning lines.
• 2.If you go first, a corner opening forces your opponent into defensive play immediately.
• 3.When the opponent takes the center, counter with a corner — never an edge square.
• 4.Create a "fork" — a position where you have two ways to win at once, making it impossible to block both.
• 5.Against a perfect AI it is always a draw — look for the fork pattern to maximize wins against human opponents.
